Safety, Skill & Compassion
SAFETY is always our concern during even the simplest procedures. No anesthesia is 100% safe, however we strive for perfection. This means only the best drugs and gas anesthetics are used (human grade). It also includes specialized equipment sich as pulse oxymeters (measures oxygen amounts in the blood and heart rates continually during surgery), hot water heating pads, warm IV fluids, and- most importantly- constant mointoring and attention to detail.
SKILL and training go hand in hand and our entire staff exemplifies this. Our doctors are highly trained professionals who stay current on the latest techniques. Our receptionists strive to be friendly and informative and when they are unable to answer your questions or address your concerns, our team of certified veterinary technicians will. They are schooled in veterinary nursing and are always helpful and informative. All the staff members enjoy continuing education opportunities relating to the veterinary medical profession and to improved public interactions.
COMPASSION is our most important objective. This includes not only the pets, wild animals, and exotic animals upon whom we focus, but also the human family members. It is the culmination of all of our training, high-tech and safety equipment, and enormous hours which each of us brings to the hospital. We strive to continually celebrate the human-animal bond, to nurture it, to facilitate it and always show the deep respect which it deserves.
